A group of business ambassadors from Hampshire will find out about how the Shaw Trust charity is helping disabled and disadvantaged people find employment.

As part of the Hampshire County Council scheme, 30 ambassadors will pay a visit to the Careers Development Group’s (CDG) offices in Southampton today to find out about how they support people on their journey into work.

They will discover how the CDG and the Shaw Trust support candidates with employment training, work placements and trials.

The CDG merged with the Shaw Trust last year, and between them, both companies have supported 46,000 people on their journey into employment between 2011 and 2012.
