A Hampshire rink is set to open this summer.

The Fareham facility, for roller hockey, inline skating and other sports, will be one of only five such facilities in the UK.

Salmiakki Sports, a not-for-profit community interest company, has raised £25,000 for the scheme. Fareham Borough Council has pledged £21,500. It is hoped that the facility will open in July although a location has yet to be finalised.
