A host of houses have been burgled in a Hampshire town between March 4 and March 6.

Three happened in two nights on one road and of these, an elderly man’s home was targeted on both nights.

Someone went into the property in Bevis Road, Gosport, and stole several bank cards, then the burglar went into a neighbour’s garage and stole a pizza.

Burglars got into a property in Sedgley Grove through a window and stole items including a money tin containing about £300, a silver Tag watch with a silver dial and a Pandora-style bracelet with two green, two blue, two silver and a zebra charm.

Prior to this, a burglar walked into a home in Sovereign Avenue while the residents were in another room and stole a brown satchel-style handbag, a brown Radley purse, and a black Nokia mobile phone.

Call police on 101.
