AN offshore wind farm vessel transfer operator is gearing up for growth on the Isle of Wight.

Seacat Services will have invested more than £15m in manufacturing and jobs by 2013 on the Island.

This includes the manufacturing of four specialised workboats, with a further two vessels due for delivery by the end of the year.

The firm is seeking to build out the way it supports international renewable energy developers and utilities by bringing plans for future off-shore windfarms to life.
