AT long last the sun has come out and that means playtime for these youngsters who can now enjoy a brand new facility.
The new playground was officially opened by reception year pupils at Fryern Infant School who can enjoy the state of the art learning and play area.
Featuring a storytelling chair, a wildlife and sensory garden and climbing and balance equipment the £30,000 area is set to be a fun addition to the Oakmount Road campus in Chandler’s Ford.
Even before it was opened the playground has been a big part of the curriculum as the pupils have helped design it, teachers have used the theme of construction in their curriculum and it has even seen youngsters dress up as builders.
