CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON (HELVELLYN ROAD SERVICE ROAD) (ROAD CLOSURE) (009-34)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2013
Southampton City Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE THAT, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the Council made the following Order on 8th May 2013.
1 The effect of the Order will be to close Helvellyn Road Service Road from its eastern junction with Helvellyn Road to its western junction with Helvellyn Road.
2 The Order is required to allow redevelopment and highway improvement works to be carried out.
3 The alternative route will be via Cumbrian Way.
4 TheOrdercomesintoforceon13thMay2013anditisanticipated that the work will take 62 weeks to complete. The Order will therefore cease to have effect on 21st July 2014 or on completion of the works, whichever is later.
