A SOUTHAMPTON poet has won a prestigious writing competition.
Roger Kingman has seen his story The Rendezvous in print after winning the general fiction award in Writers of the Year 2013.
The 66-year-old retired Cemix Marine UK logistics controller from Sholing won in the general fiction category after entering his story about terrorism and revolution when a ship is found in the Caribbean.
