Inquest told of widower's grief
A HAMPSHIRE pensioner who never got over the death of his wife killed himself on the anniversary of her death.
James Anderson decided to commit suicide after years of grieving for wife Stella, an inquest heard The nephew of the former electrician from Bishopstoke told the hearing in Winchester his uncle had become reclusive since his wife died of cancer in 2001.
He found his uncle hanged at his home in Underwood Road on December 14 last year.
Coroner Simon Burge recorded a verdict of suicide.
