GET ready for the ride of your life!

It’s the Aussie adventure that has been a smash hit in the West End and on Broadway.

Jason Donovan and Noel Sullivan share the role of Tick as Priscilla Queen of the Desert enjoys a two week run at The Mayflower from Monday.

Based on the movie, Priscilla is the heart-warming, uplifting story of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship.

With a dazzling array of outrageous costumes and a hit parade of dance floor favourites including It’s Raining Men, Say a Little Prayer and Always on My Mind, it’s a fresh and funny musical.

Former Neighbours and chart star, turned musical theatre lead man Jason told Your Entertainment: “It’s a story about misfits, it’s a bit crazy, but it’s got a great heart with great songs and great costumes. It’s a story about a gay man and his love for his wife and child,” he tells me.

“The marriage between me and this show is a good one. It’s a unique show for me. It’s Australian, I’m an Australian, it’s a great musical and a great story. They are the three reasons why I’m back doing this show. It really worked for me, so I would have been crazy to let it go like I have with other shows in the past.

Jason takes over for the second week from former Hearsay singer Noel Sullivan, who last appeared in Southampton in We Will Rock You.

Award-winning Priscilla Queen of the Desert also stars Richard Grieve, who has appeared in Emmerdale, Neighbours and Home and Away.
