POLICE have reopened a Hampshire main road after a double decker was in collision with a car this afternoon.
One of the Velvet operator buses was in collision with a car on Heath House Lane, Hedge End, shortly before 4pm.
Crews from all three emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed in both directions while they cleared the wreckage.
Resident Jim Rumsey who arrived home to see three ambulances and a police car just yards from his home said: βIt's normally a very busy road with traffic coming from junction eight of the M27 and there is a bend and a bus stop there so it isn't always clear.β
