THIS is the dramatic moment a lorry became stuck under a city centre bridge.
The lorry is lodged under central bridge in Royal Crescent Road, Southampton.
Police are currently on scene working out how to remove the vehicle.
The incident has dislodged part of a hazard barrier warning motorists of the bridge's height but the structure appears to be unscathed.
Although the lorry is blocking one lane under the bridge, traffic is flowing freely.
Dave Green, of nearby printing firm Cedar Group, said: "I was doing some computer work when I heard a loud metal crunch and thought 'whoops'. I had a look out of the window and saw it stuck.
"You don't get this much excitement down here unless there's a ship coming in.
"The sat navs bring them down here and they usually turn round. Perhaps there could be better signage round here."
Laszlo Gobocos, of nearby Chantry Road, said: "I heard a loud bang from my flat and I had to see what happened."
