An investigation has been launched after Internet hackers posted offensive messages on the Facebook page of one of Hampshire's most popular children's attractions.

Peppa Pig World's Facebook page has been targeted by unknown hackers who have posted a number of messages, spam links and pictures over the past 24 hours.

Staff from the attraction, based at Paulton's Park near Romsey, have been working with Facebook to track down the culprits, but admit they are no nearer to identifying the source of the messages.

Among the posts left on the website, which is liked by almost 140,000 parents and their children, were messages containing swear words and rude jokes.

Angry parents have demanded free tickets in compensation, with one saying: “Free day pass for everyone who has read this and lost trust in Peppa Pig's World?”

In a statement, Peppa Pig World said: “Unfortunately the Peppa Pig World Facebook page has been hacked by an unknown source.

“We are currently working with Facebook and doing everything we can to resolve the issue, thank you for your continued understanding.

“Although we are not responsible for this we apologise for what is frustratingly out of our control.”

Nothing more annoying than an angry and ill-informed parent.

“Free day pass for everyone who has read this and lost trust in Peppa Pig's World?"

Oh shut up. No one can help being targetted by hackers. And if it's a Facebook page then that is Facebook's problem, not Peppa Pig World's.

Not sure why you have included the (sic). "Peppa Pig's World" is correct. It's a possesive apostrophe. As in Wayne's World.

Yes that is very true, yesterday we were in Bitterne Village which was full of mothers with young kids and there was a lot of swearing and cursing aimed at the kids and in 'conversation' between the mothers.
One young mum yelled to their crying kid (crying because they were being dragged around the shops)
'Fa f**ks sake will ya stop ya f**king whingein' , I aint' not got a choice if ya wan ya bloody dinher'
This was to a kid under the age of five and what her shopping for clothes had to do with getting his dinner Was anyone's guess.

Didn't rather than "can't". I'm retired, and although I usually check spelling, a few mestokes doo slop threw sumthymes.

The idea that a spelling error is evidence that I might be lying about my background has its basis in paranoia rather than fact.

Please note, everyone, that kingnotail has admitted his offensiveness by saying "Yet again I smell." !

Or, perhaps he missed a word out, and meant to say "Yet again I smell LIKE a serial bullsh1tter." !

This is pure gold. I will post it every time this objectionable apology for humanity spews up his usual brand of nonsense. Defeated by his own stupidity.

The truth is so far away from what you think. Anyone can see your imagination is rather limited from the predictability of your stereotyping, ie lonely nerd with insomnia - lol !

As always, your timid, faltering little posts betray the infancy of your maturity.

10 to 5 - best part of the day, watching the dawn break. But there is something about the darkness, the night. The silence finely tunes your ears and you hear foxes, owls, hedge hogs. "Leeson to them, the cheeldren of the night ! What music they mek !" Yes, Lugosi was referring to wolves, but the allusion still works.

Lost you, have I ? Trust me, t*ssers, you will always be lost.

Very self-centered to think that you speak on behalf of other people without their actual input isn't it?

The difference you will find, between myself, Froots, and anybody else that disagrees with your self righteous spiel is that we know that our opinions are not facts but we can still exercise our right to portray them.

You on the otherhand seem to think that your opinions are more worthy than others.

Oh and you can quote literature as much as you want, it doesn't lead me to believe you are any more 'intelligent' or cultured as you make out to be, more likely that you make good use of Google.

Ha ! Ha ! The quote was not from literature, you ignorant idiot ! It was from the first "talkie" version of "Dracula," in 1931, with Bela Lugosi in the title role. Bram Stoker, the original author, writes : "Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make!" I quoted Lugosi's interpretation, in his strong Hungarian/Romanian accent : "Leeson to them....etc".

You cannot replace a lifetime of learning, knowledge and experience with Google, even if you make "good use of it". Google is rife with incorrect information, so you have to know your subject pretty well before you use it. Song lyrics and guitar chord sequences are a prime example. do you know the saying : "How are you going to find out what you need to know if you don't know what you need to know ?" Think about it.

I have a degree, and many decades of educational experience. I taught "arts" subjects at secondary level for over 30 years, and have a number of related skills. That's all you need to know. My identity is private, and will never be available for scrutiny on a forum such as this.

I'm afraid your inability to recognise that I have some integrity is a reflection on the paucity of your own, perhaps. Youth, jealousies, and sour grapes do seem to be prime ingredients in yours and Froots' posts.

It came to mind after I posted that I'd heard the name Lugosi somewhere I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Either way your entire reply is null and void because although you 'claim' to have a lifetime of experience, it hasn't stopped you from being a tiresome old c**nt.

Feel free to reply, I am tired with monitoring this thread so I will no longer be looking at replies and therefore you shall be talking to yourself.

Good Day.
