WITH less than a month before rhinos invade Southampton, another has joined the charge.

Contractor Greenspan Projects has signed up to be part of the Marwell Wildlife’s Go! Rhinos stampede which aims to boost business for all those involved and create a unique day out for families and tourists.

The decorated rhino sculptures will pop up across city streets and parks on a trail which starts on July 13 and lasts for ten weeks.

Rod Morton, from Greenspan Projects, said: “As a preferred contractor of Marwell we were pleased to get involved in the Go! Rhinos project. It’s a great way to boost local economy,
support charities and, of course, promote our own business.”

At the end of the Daily Echo-backed event, the sculptures will be auctioned, with the proceeds being split between Marwell’s rhino conservation work, the Rose Road Association and Wessex Heartbeat’s HIGH 5 Appeal.

Kirstie Mathieson, from Marwell, added: “We are thrilled that Greenspan has joined the charge and recognised that Go! Rhinos provides a creative vehicle for it to raise its profile across the region as well as strengthening its relationship with Marwell.”
