Woman charged in connection with murder of Jahmel Jones

A WOMAN has been charged in the connection with the killing of Jahmel Jones in Southampton.

Rachel Kenehan, 34, from Hewlett Road, London has been charged with assisting an offender. She has also been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and perverting the course of justice.

She has been bailed to appear before Southampton Magistrates Court on Friday, July 19.

Three men have already been charged with Jahmel's murder.

Jemmikai Orlebar-Forbes, 19, Pierre Lewis, 20, and Isaac Boateng, 21, all from London, have appeared at Winchester Crown Court where they were remanded in custody until a future date.

Jahmel, 23, of Lyon Street, was shot in the head at a flat in St Mary Street at around 10.30am on Saturday, April 20. He died later in hospital.
