A BODY has been found during the hunt for a missing woman, police confirmed last night.
The discovery was made at 3.40pm yesterday near the Meon shore area, by Titchfield Haven.
Formal identification of the body and a post-mortem examination will take place in the next few days.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A family liaison officer is keeping relatives of missing woman Heather Harley informed, but police are not in a position to confirm the body’s identity at this time.
