IT WAS family fun in the sun as these youngsters joined the rhino charge that has hit Southampton.
Grandad Brian Donnarumma headed out onto the Go! Rhinos trail with his own herd, ready to track down some of the magnificent mammals which have popped up in the city.

The 58-year-old from Thornhill was joined by his grandchildren Ruby Donnarumma, five, Rebecca Donnarumma, eight, Emily Donnarumma, ten, and Holly and Charlotte Cooper, ten, who all got creative with their poses for a chance to win the Daily Echo’s photo competition.

They posed with IT’s NOT a Target, Beatrix, Rika and Reginald, but their favourite was Wild In Art’s rhino, Fleur, found in Westgate Hall, as the girls loved the fact she was pink and covered in flowers.
They are the latest entry for our Go! Rhinos photo competition, looking for the most inventive and imaginative ways to have a snap with the colourful sculptures.

To get involved all you have to do is send in your photos of you, your children or even your dog next to your favourite rhino – be as imaginative as you can, without touching the sculptures.

The winning photo, judged by a panel, will win a Junior Experience worth £150 – which gives one lucky youngster an unforgettable opportunity to be a zookeeper for the day, where they will get to feed the animals and muck out their enclosures – plus a family ticket for a trip to Marwell.

The best of the rest will appear in a special souvenir supplement of photos at the end of the trail.
Just email your photos to picdesk@dailyecho.co.uk, with your name, address, contact telephone number and the names and ages of those in the photo, plus where they are from.
