MYSTERY surrounds where a controversial historian is due to give a talk tomorrow night.
But David Irving is NOT appearing at The Pilgrim Inn in Hythe Road, in Marchwood – contrary to information supplied to the Daily Echo by the historian’s website.
The pub said it was news to them and he was certainly not booked in to give a talk on his up and coming book.
Mr Irving’s website said he was due to talk in Southampton at 6.30pm but did not reveal the exact location.
When the Daily Echo contacted the website, it was wrongly supplied with the Marchwood venue’s address.
