HE has good problem-solving skills and plenty of experience.
But with so many jobseekers on the hunt for work, it’s hard to find the right vacancy.
That’s why Ian Fisher has joined the Daily Echo’s Give Me a Chance campaign which aims to match jobseekers with employers.
The 54-year-old from Bitterne, Southampton is highly experienced within hotel, catering and security industries and would be most suited to a public-facing role.
Ian has spent much of his career organising events and providing silver service on yachts across the world, working as a silver service waiter on the QE2 and providing security and front desk assistance for organisations across Southampton.
He has plenty of skills and qualifications, including health and safety and food and hygiene certificates.
Ian said: “Having worked in hospitality and customer services for many years at a high level, I have a proven record in the work force and I still have lots to offer.”
In his spare time, Ian enjoys meeting new people, keeping fit, photography and listening to modern jazz.
He describes himself as a well presented, responsible and flexible individual with a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills, but most of all he’s keen to get back into work.
