Delays after four-vehicle smash on Hampshire motorway
A WOMAN motorist was hurt after a rush hour road smash on a Hampshire motorway tonight.
A silver box van was in collision with a VW Passat on the eastbound M27 Hamble Bridge eastbound carriageway between junctions eight near Bursledon and nine at Whiteley at 4.53pm.
The woman suffered minor injuries and an ambulance was called to the scene.
One lane was cordoned off while recovery services removed the vehicles and maintenance workers surveyed a damaged crash barrier.
Motorists are caught in jams stretching back to junction five near Southampton Airport.
