BOSSES at the Shell petrol station and convenience story in Burgess Road, Southampton, want permission to sell alcohol from 7.30am to 10pm, seven days a week.
The city council’s licensing committee will run the rule over the application on October 17 after Hampshire Constabulary objected.
The police say insufficient evidence has been submitted by the applicant for a licence to be granted. If one is granted the police want conditions including a CCTV system, a refusals book, a Challenge 25 policy and training for staff to be implemented.
