A SOUTHAMPTON Christian housing charity wants young people to help with a community clean-up on November 2.
Chapter 1 has organised the clean-up in Portswood Road.
As well as sprucing up the streets, there will be music, food and other activities.
Organiser Graham Smith said: “The idea came from our young people, but has attracted a number of other groups. We have volunteers coming from a number of church and community groups, including a number from the Victory Centre where we’ll all be meeting after the clean-up.
"It’ll be a chance to get to know each other better.”
The event starts at 1pm at the Kingsley House in Alma Road and the clean-up will then move to Portswood Road, finishing at 5pm.
Information: Graham on 075 8463 4336.
