Car written off in fire
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car blaze in Southampton this morning.
An electrical fault in the engine sparked a fire in a Rover in Burgoyne Road, Thornhill, at around 1am.
The car was written off due to damage to the engine, front wing and bonnet. No one was hurt.
One appliance attended from Hightown fire station.
