Winchester burglaries
A STRING of thefts has struck Winchester just as the countdown to Christmas begins.
Sheds, vehicles and a house have been burgled in recent days.
A shed was entered in Colson Close, Winnall, between December 2 and 9, in which various items were taken, including an electric heater.
A theft from a vehicle was reported from Ashbourne Court, Bereweeke, at some time between December 6 and 9. Items stolen included a sat nav.
On Monday an attempt to enter a house in Compton Way, Oliver’s Battery, was made between 9am and 5.45pm.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact 101.
