Night shelter opens in Isle of Wight

Daily Echo: Night shelter opens Night shelter opens

A NEW night shelter on the Isle of Wight is offering homeless people a place to sleep.

The winter night shelter has opened at the Downside Community Learning Centre in Newport and will operate until further notice, providing shelter from 7pm until 8am the next day.

Those who arrive before 9.30pm can get a hot meal.

Doors at the centre will close at 11pm.
