FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze on board two boats in Hampshire this afternoon.

Fifteen firefighters were called to Fareham Creek at about 12.10pm.

They found one 40-foot trader motor cruiser and a 40-foot sail boat alight.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and high-pressure hose reels to douse the flames.

Both boats were damaged during the blaze, but no-one was injured.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
