IT’S time to pay tribute to the most important meal of the day.
Hampshire Farmers’ Market (HFM) is inviting award-winning chefs to Winchester to celebrate the launch of Farmhouse Breakfast Week on January 26.
The event will feature the market’s cookery demonstration unit, which will be manned by local cooks producing a variety of inventive breakfast dishes.
HFM business manager Alex Handford said: “Farmhouse Breakfast Week is an opportunity for us to promote all the great breakfast produce that our stallholders sell that is all locally produced and fully traceable, which has been a key issue for shoppers in 2013. “We have producers selling eggs, smoked trout, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, cheese, ham, croissant, artisan breads, conserves and honey.”
