Daily Echo: Estate agents seek keen apprentices Estate agents seek keen apprentices

YOUNG people with an eye for property are being encouraged to apply for an invitation to an apprentice open day, where they could secure themselves a full-time job and estate agency apprenticeship training.

The event is being organised by the Countrywide group of estate agents in partnership with national training and apprenticeship provider Positive Outcomes.

Countrywide is offering nine full-time apprenticeships in the Solent region – one at each of the estate agent’s branches, which are in Chandler’s Ford, Bournemouth, Charminster, Boscombe, Westbourne, Winton, Bridport, Chard and Wincanton.

At the event in Bournemouth on Janaury 22 the attendees will be able to see what doing an apprenticeship could mean for them.

More discrimination against experienced older people, and the operative word in the above article is 'could' it is not guaranteed, I have actually seen an ad today asking for under 24s to work for an estate agency - so people above this age are past it - are they!!
