DAILY ECHO editor-in-chief Ian Murray takes his red sofa on tour again today.
He is inviting readers to join him on the sofa for a one-to-one chat to discuss with him what they like about their local newspaper at Hedge End Retail Park.
The sofa will be situated in the foyer between Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s from noon until 2pm.
Already the Daily Echo’s red sofa tour has seen the couch visiting a number of venues around the area, including The Marlands and WestQuay shopping centres in Southampton, the Swan Centre in Eastleigh and the Asda supermarket in Totton, where people have spoken to Ian about what they like about the Daily Echo or any other issues they want to discuss.
Editor-in-chief Ian is inviting shoppers and residents to join him among the scatter cushions so that he can learn first-hand what they enjoy reading about or would like to see more of in the Daily Echo.
Anyone is invited to turn up at the event, which is being sponsored by Hedge End Retail Park, and join him for a natter.
