Nature enthusiasts can witness a spectacular sight of thousands of birds at one of Hampshire’s reserves on January 24.

Blashford Lakes nature reserve near Ringwood is holding a dusk spectacle which will see 20,000 gulls, 500 geese and 200 goosanders coming in to roost on Ibsey Water.

It starts at 4pm and runs to 5pm, and there is a suggested donation of £3. To book, call 01425 472760.
