HAMPSHIRE fundraisers are being urged to take the plunge and make a splash for charity.
If you have been inspired by the celebrities diving into action on ITV’s Splash! then Southampton Hospital Charity has the challenge for you.
On March 29, the charity is hosting a sponsored diving event at The Quays swimming and diving complex, following the popularity of the Saturday night show where Olympic diver Tom Daley, above, teaches stars how to dive.
Those brave enough to take part will hurtle towards the water at up to 34mph, but every penny raised will be donated to each diver’s chosen hospital department.
Those taking part will have to attend a training session on March 22 and pay a £25 deposit.
