A busy road linking several villages in the Lockerley area will be closed for 12 nights next month so engineers can work on a railway bridge.
Network Rail plans to carry out repairs to Lockerley Bridge which carries trains over Romsey Road in the village.
Work is due to start on Monday, March 3, and last until Saturday, March 15, and the improvements will be done between 9pm and 5.30am each night.
While the work is in progress Romsey Road will be closed to all traffic.
Signed diversions will be set up around the closure and the route will include Lockerley Road at Dunbridge, the B3084 at Mottisfont and northwards to Broughton Hill, and then west to East Tytherley and down to Romsey Road at Lockerley on the north side of the bridge and vice versa.
