AN EVENT is expected to see thousands of people across the country make a splash for charity.
And Hampshire residents can play their part in the World’s Biggest Swim at Fareham Leisure Centre.
This year’s Swimathon, on March 21 and 22, supported by Olympian swimmer Duncan Goodhew, will be raising money for Sport Relief.
The centre is offering a range of distances and challenges to suit swimmers of all fitness levels.
Individuals can choose from 1.5km, 2.5km or 5km distances, but there is also a team challenge for distances of 1.5km and 5km.
Teams can split the distance however they choose to cater for the strongest and weakest swimmers in the squad. Visit everyoneactive.com or swimathon.org to register.
