POLICE are investigating the theft of £100 worth of sex toys from a Southampton shop.

The Private Shop in Hanover Buildings, Southampton, was targeted twice on the same night.

A lone intruder is thought to have smashed through a glass door panel, causing around £800-worth of damage.

The offender was wearing a black coat, officers say.

He is described as white, around 6ft, slim to medium build, and had short dark hair.

The man was also wearing glasses.

Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to question in connection with the break ins.

The incident happened between 8.50pm and 9.20pm on February 3. It is the third time the store has been targeted in two years.

Anyone with information should call PC Lance Plummer on 101.
