THE jury in the murder trial of Jahmel Jones have retired for a second day.

Jurors at Winchester Crown Court have been deliberating their verdicts since just before midday yesterday.

They were summoned into the court by the Hon Justice Keith at 3.45pm after a day of discussions.

Jurors are deciding whether defendants Pierre Lewis, Isaac Boateng, and Jemmikai Orlebar Forbes are guilty of murdering Mr Jones, known as Lucky, at a flat in 69 St Mary Street in April last year.

They are also deliberating whether Rachel Kenehan is guilty of assisting an offender, perverting the course of justice, and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Lewis, 20, of Castlenau, Barnes, Orlebar Forbes, 20, of Cloudsdale Road, London, and Boateng, 22, of Mill Farm Crescent, London, all deny murder.

They have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Kenehan, 35, of Hewlett Road, London, denies conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, assisting an offender, and perverting the course of justice.
