Two due in court after van robbery
TWO men were due to appear in court today after a security van driver was robbed in Hampshire.
The robbery took place outside Tesco Express in Salisbury Street, Fordingbridge, at about 11.10am on March 5.
Forty-one-year-old Gary Lee Allen, of Fairfield Road, Salisbury, and 26-year-old Ricky Edward Maidment, of Rollestone Street, Salisbury, have been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
They were set to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today.
