Murder bid charge denied
A SOUTHAMPTON man has denied attempted murder at a house in the city centre last year.
Ajab Khalil, 29, of Clovelly Road, St Mary’s, appeared at Winchester Crown Court yesterday. The attack, in which the victim, aged 37, suffered multiple stab wounds, is alleged to have happened at a property in Clovelly Road on November 28 last year.
Khalil also denied affray and criminal damage.
Judge Guy Boney QC adjourned the hearing for trial at Winchester in May.
