AT least two people have been hurt by collapsing seats at John Pearson Hall, Alresford Town Council heard.

Councillors approved a grant of £350 towards the replacement of the dangerous seats. At least six have collapsed, with city councillor Simon Cook one of the victims.

The council also backed a grant of £1,100 to Alresford Town Trust towards the running costs of its minibus and the purchase of a new one in 2018.
