A BABY was rescued after becoming trapped in a car last night.
The one-year-old boy locked himself into the vehicle at Badger Farm Sainsbury’s, Winchester, as his parents were loading the car.
One crew from Winchester Fire Station attended and managed to open the car minutes later using wedges and wire.
Watch manager Chris Roper said: “Apparently the keys had been left in the car and the parents had closed the door to stop the boy falling out. But it seems he stood on the keys and locked them out from the inside.”
