Eastleigh hearing centre's starring role in TV ad
Updated 10:54am Tuesday 1st April 2014 in News
A HAMPSHIRE hearing centre is playing a starring role in a television advert.
The Specsavers Hearing Centre in Eastleigh is appearing on the nation’s screens as part of a 40-second advert for the high street hearing aid provider.
Although the front of the shop, in Market Street, is shown, staff featured in the advert are not from the local store.
It showcases the firm’s same-day test and fit service and its promotion offering a free pair of glasses for customers buying a hearing test.
Nicola Simmons, hearcare director at the Eastleigh centre, said: “Looking after hearing is at the heart of what we do, so it’s wonderful to see our store raising awareness of services not only in our area, but across the UK and Northern Ireland. Although, it’s taking some getting used to seeing the store pop up on the television screen.”
