POLICE have released a new CCTV image of a second man wanted in connection with a theft from a Winchester hotel.

Officers believe this man, and another, also caught on camera – could hold vital information following the theft of a bank card from Marwell Hotel, which was later used to withdraw £7,000.

As previously reported, a driving licence and debit card were stolen from a hotel room of a guest, who was later called by a person claiming to be from the bank, asking for his PIN number.

Despite the victim not giving out the number, the card was used in Birmingham to withdraw £7,000.

Anyone with information about the theft, on January 22, between 7.45pm and 8.15pm, should contact PC Bulpit on 101.
