Daily Echo: Motorway crash causing rush hour delays Motorway crash causing rush hour delays

MOTORISTS face delays after a rush-hour crash on a busy Hampshire motorway.

There is major congestion on the M271 northbound following an earlier collision on the roundabout approaching the M27.

Police are currently at the scene and a section is coned off after recovery work was carried out.

There are currently approximate delays of ten minutes for drivers on approach.

I witnessed a near miss on this roundabout just an hour before this incident.
A lorry was in the middle lane to go right at the roundabout ,3rd exit, to the motorway towards Portsmouth and a dark blue car was in the right-hand lane to go straight ahead, 2nd exit, to Romsey! They missed each other by a few feet.
