Daily Echo: Bomb disposal unit Bomb disposal unit

BOMB disposal teams were deployed to a Southampton building site after contractors discovered what they thought was an unexploded bomb.

Hampshire police confirmed they were called by workers just before 9.30am this morning at the Central Bridge construction site at Terminus Terrace after they discovered a metal object which they believed could have been a bomb.

Specialist bomb disposal teams assessed the object and determined that it was not a bomb and posed no risk to the public.

God almighty, they will do anything to avoid doing any actual work here. That bridge and the roadway has been dug up gods know how many times, they cannot be any WWII bombs underneath it.
