A PENSIONER died after collapsing at her Hampshire home, an inquest heard.
Dorothy Fry was found on her living room floor in Hazeldene Gardens, Itchen Abbas, near Winchester.
A carer dialled 999 after finding the 84-year-old bleeding from a head wound on March 18.
She died the same day at Southampton General Hospital.
Pathologist Eleanor Jaynes told the inquest the pensioner suffered hip and pelvic fractures and a cut to her head.
She said Mrs Fry – who had a pacemaker – had suffered heart failure and irregular heartbeat before her death but Dr Jaynes was unable to tell whether this caused the fall.
Southampton deputy coroner Gordon Denson recorded a verdict of accidental death.
