Arsonists targeted a children's playground in Hampshire.
The vandals fire to equipment in the park in Hedge End.
A bench and rubber matting were set alight in the playground off Nelsons Gardens - just yards from an electricity pylon.
Crews from Botley fire station used a hose reel to put out the flames and stop them spreading to nearby climbing frames and rope walks.
The fire, at 8.30pm on Friday completely destroyed the bench and caused damage to the perimeter fencing.
The park - which is set back from housing - remains open for use.
