Dinner brings in £760 for counselling service

A FUNDRAISING dinner in Winchester in aid of the Olive Branch charity raised more than £760.

More than 40 people attended the Bangkok Brasserie in Jewry Street, including the Mayor and Mayoress of Winchester, Cllr Ernie and Mrs Barbara Jeffs.

Money was raised for the Olive Branch Christian Counselling Service, a charity based in Winchester.

This charity has been providing a counselling service for over-18s in Winchester and surrounding areas for more than 17 years.

Its volunteer counsellors work with clients to help improve all areas of their lives, such as relationships and mental health, thereby bringing benefit to clients, family and the community.
