Charity cyclist hit by thieves

A woman’s fundraising cycle in memory of her father has been hit after thieves stole the front wheel of her bike.

Zoe Beresford is cycling 350 miles across Malawi in October to raise money for Myton Hospice, in Warwick, which cared for her father Matthew until he died aged 45 of cancer last year.

Zoe found her bike hanging off the rail by her flat in Northlands Road, Southampton, with no front wheel. The bike wheel went missing along with others between 9am on Monday, June 2 and 6am on Tuesday, June 3. Call police on 101 with any information.
