It is run by the university’s archaeology department and is aimed at teenagers aged 13 to 15.
Some of the fun-filled activities on offer include an Anglo-Saxon crime scene investigation, interpreting rock art and a look at how people kept warm in the Palaeolithic age.
The event is part of the Festival of British Archaeology and will take place at the Southampton University’s Avenue Campus in Highfield. It will run from 9.30am to 4pm. To register an interest in attending email ArchDay@Soton.ac.uk.
