DOG owners concerned about their beloved pets can have their pooches microchipped for free in Southampton on Monday.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary will be at the event, organised by the Dogs Trust, from 11am to 3pm on The Common.
A Dogs Trust spokesman said: “We want to ensure that no dog owners lack the financial ability to microchip their dog so are providing free microchipping to members of the public across the country ahead of the introduction of compulsory micro-chipping in England in 2016.”
