Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a man in Portsmouth.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after the incident at about 11.00pm on Tuesday, July 8 in the Doyle Avenue area of Portsmouth.
The victim, a 22-year-old man was assaulted and left with minor injuries after being approached by two men as he sat in his car.
He was treated at Queen Alexandra Hospital and was released following medical treatment.
He described one of the attackers as a white man, about 6 ft tall.
The two men were seen close to a small dark car in the same area.
