ELECTRICAL items have been taken in a burglary.

Thieves got into a house in Waterbeech Drive, Hedge End and stole a 42 in television worth £350, an iPad worth £400 and other electrical items including laptops, a Playstation 3 and a camera between 6pm on Friday and 8pm on Saturday.

  • An 18-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and bailed until October 22.

Amanda Papa, 26, of Waterbeech Drive, Hedge End, has been charged with one count of theft and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on August 8.
